Mission

The mission of SIERRA ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY school of Practical Nursing is to provide entry level nursing education to men and women from diverse backgrounds and cultures; upon completion of the practical nursing program, the community and the STATE OF NEW JERSEY will be provided with graduate nurses who are competent, qualified, dedicated and caring to practice nursing in this culturally diverse and constantly changing population and environment.

Goals

The SIERRA ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY School of Practical Nursing will provide an environmentthat will enhance and stimulate learning for students.

2 The classroom and laboratory will be equipped with modern and state of the art equipment,materials and learning tools.

3Qualified and experienced faculty will be hired and retained.

4 Graduates of SIERRA ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY School of Practical Nursing will pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) at first sitting.

5 The graduates of SIERRA ALLIED HEALTH ACADEMY school of Practical Nursing who have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEXPN) will be competent and qualified to work in hospitals, nursing homes, wellness centers, government and private clinics, doctors offices, school clinics and other health care facilities located in the community and the STATE OF NEW JERSEY in general.
